Friday, January 23rd @ 8 pm: Barbes in Brooklyn with Cory Seznec and Dean Sharenow - Cory and I recently reconnected after a long spell when he returned to the States after 15 years in France and Ethiopia. Nothing like an old friend- and Cory, who was always a stellar player of blues, fingerstyle gospel, and Americaniana, has added tons of very smart and sensitive interpretations African styles to his repertoire. We’ll each play a set, and we’ll certainly play together. Dean Sharenow will back me up on percussion and vox.
